“Thirty” film ’s Asian Premiere at Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in India _ “Thirty”, a subtle film by Myanmar filmmaker Ei Mon Kyaw.
“Thirty”, a fiction film , produced and released in the early year of 2023 by Only One But Rat Production. The film was written and directed by Ei Mon Kyaw and produced by Nay Wunn Ni. It is a relatable subtle film which portrayed a story about the inner struggles of a lady in her early 30s.
As a milestone in 2023, the short film ‘Thirty’ recently had its Asian Premiere Screenings at one of the massive festivals in India, Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. Director Ei Mon Kyaw and Producer Nay Wunn Ni, had presented to the Festival premiere and had a lot of cinematic fun-experiences through the different cultures from the board-raging film genres.
In the post-screening question and answer session, director Ei Mon Kyaw and Producer Nay Wunn Ni got to share the challenges they faced during production, and the emotional journey of the writer that led to the creation of ‘Thirty.’ Every question and answer sessions which followed the screenings of other films provided a unique insight into other directors’ creative process and inspiration behind their particular cinematic gem and it was quite an awesome opportunity to discover the diverse of the Indian film industry and various story-telling styles.
